  • Author: Clara
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders 1x

Description

These breakfast sliders feature crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese on soft slider buns, making them a delightful treat for brunch or a cozy morning. Easy to prepare and customizable, they are perfect for gatherings or a quick breakfast option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 12 large eggs
  • 12 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: hot sauce or ketchup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
  4. In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In the skillet with the reserved bacon grease, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the whisked eggs and stir gently until just set, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. On the bottom half of the slider buns, layer a slice of bacon, a scoop of scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
  7. Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
  9. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  10. Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and let cool for a minute.
  11. Cut the sliders into individual portions and serve warm with optional hot sauce or ketchup.

Notes

  • Customize Your Fillings: Add sautéed vegetables, avocado, or different cheeses to suit your taste.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble the sliders the night before, cover with foil, and refrigerate. Bake in the morning.
  • Freezing: After baking, let cool completely, wrap individually, and store in a freezer bag. Reheat in the oven when ready to serve.
