Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices of bacon
- 12 large eggs
- 12 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: hot sauce or ketchup for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet.
- In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
- In the skillet with the reserved bacon grease, melt the butter over medium heat. Pour in the whisked eggs and stir gently until just set, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- On the bottom half of the slider buns, layer a slice of bacon, a scoop of scrambled eggs, and a slice of cheddar cheese.
- Place the top halves of the slider buns over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and let cool for a minute.
- Cut the sliders into individual portions and serve warm with optional hot sauce or ketchup.
