- 1 wheel of Brie cheese (about 8 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (or your favorite herb)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, roughly chopped (optional)
- Fresh fruit (like apple slices or berries) for serving
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Instructions
- Remove the Brie from its packaging. You can choose to remove the rind or leave it on for added flavor and texture.
- Place the Brie on a cutting board and score the top in a crisscross pattern to help it melt evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, chopped rosemary, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut a piece of parchment paper to fit the bottom of your air fryer basket to prevent sticking.
- Place the scored Brie on the parchment paper in the air fryer basket.
- Drizzle the honey mixture over the Brie, ensuring it seeps into the scored areas. If using nuts, sprinkle them on top.
- Cook the Brie for about 8-10 minutes, monitoring it to ensure it melts but doesn’t become overly runny.
- Once done, the Brie should be soft and slightly bubbling. Carefully remove the basket.
- Transfer the melted Brie to a serving platter, leaving it on the parchment for easy cleanup if desired.
- Drizzle any remaining honey mixture over the Brie.
- Garnish with additional fresh rosemary or herbs for presentation.
- Serve warm with fresh fruit and an assortment of crackers or sliced baguette.
